It is the highway in the north of Gran Canaria, but don't be alarmed: even highways can be interesting in Gran Canaria! It certainly doesn't offer the same fun as other roads, but it does offer many fascinating views, especially at night. It passes through some very characteristic spots and some truly beautiful and authentic villages, such as El Puertillo and Puerto de las Nieves. In practice, you will almost inevitably travel along it during your journey of Gran Canaria, but it will not be a boring experience at all, quite the contrary!

THE ROAD in Gran Canaria. It has everything: fast, flowing stretches, roads overlooking the ocean, panoramic views, towns, legendary beaches... Not to be missed. It starts in Puerto de Mogan, one of the prettiest port towns in Gran Canaria. The first section, up to La Aldea, is a wide, well-paved road that is great fun to ride on a motorbike. It passes some places of great beauty, such as the Mirador de Veneguera and Fuente de los Azulejos. It is also the closest road to the mysterious Gรผigรผรญ beach. Much more easily accessible but still beautiful is the beach at La Aldea. The second part, on the other hand, is a continuous thrill. It starts with the legendary Mirador del Bร lcon, a terrace overlooking the ocean with a unique view. It then continues along a road overlooking the ocean, winding but extremely picturesque, with an almost continuous view of Tenerife and its imposing Mount Teide. This is probably one of the most beautiful roads and most exciting experiences in Gran Canaria. You finally arrive in Agaete and its port, Puerto de las Nieves, one of the most charming ports on the island.

It competes with the GC-200 for the title of "Most beautiful road in Gran Canaria." Very long, almost an hour and a half, it connects Maspalomas to the center of the island. Very good asphalt, some very smooth stretches and others winding. Along the way, there are many miradores and towns to visit, particularly San Bartolomรฉ de Tirajana. The final part of the road winds around Roque Nublo, allowing you to see it from every direction while at the same time opening up the view of Tenerife. Looking towards Tenerife, this road has my favorite "piece of asphalt" on the whole island, which I call "The picture of Tenerife." An interesting fact: the road is very long and, despite climbing up to the center of the island, it remains fairly flat. If you are looking for a victim to descend into evil on your itinerary, this could be an excellent candidate.
